Exfoliation: why your skincare products are'nt working

If you are like me, then you know  what it's like to use countless skincare products without any skin improvements. frustrating right? You use tons of moisturizers but they don't seem to last an hour on your skin. You always have oil on but once you wash off? it's back to the harmattan dry skin (lol).

I must say that some products are just terrible! They don't just work well but it's not always the products fault. it could be your skin failing to absorb them. It's like pouring water into a container when the lid is on. It doesn't actually get in does it? That's what clogged skin pores do, waste your products.

Your skin pores are those little holes in your skin. They are called hair follicles but let's not get nerdy here. Those holes are where skin products are supposed to pass through to nourish your skin: do their work. When they're clogged, that doesn't happen.

There are several ways to correct this, top most being EXFOLIATION. This is a process of removing dead skin cells and other elements that clog your skin pores.

There different methods of exfoliation e.g exfoliating soaps like our Morrocan soap

Exfoliating regularly means cleaning pores regular which means products are going into the skin to their work. That leaves you with a brighter, softer glowing skin. Before you buy the next moisturizer, try exfoliating.

How often do you exfoliate? leave a comment below or let us know if you'll start now.
